Graham Sherrington is a Director, Executive Producer and Showrunner with over 25 years’ experience delivering premium factual and documentary series for UK/US broadcasters and global streamers.

He began his career on Top GearThe Apprentice and Grand Designs, before moving to the United States, where he worked on the first season of the Netflix original Fastest Car and directed multiple episodes of Who Do You Think You Are?

His work includes directing primetime BBC drama Casualty. He was Series Producer and Director on the critically acclaimed Chef’s Brigade, directed launch episodes of Channel 4’s Hunted, and contributed to the development of Limitless with Chris Hemsworth for Disney+.

Other projects include the feature documentary Gold: A Journey with Idris Elba for YouTube and Netflix, and Grand Slammers for ITVX.

Alongside broadcast projects, Graham directs commercial campaigns and brand-funded films. He has worked with agencies including BBH, Ogilvy and M&C Saatchi, creating campaigns for Hellmann’s, Alpen and Kyocera, as well as a long-running weekly campaign for Waitrose featuring Heston Blumenthal and Delia Smith.

Graham was selected for the BBC Writer/Director Hotlist by Idris Elba and Tony Hall, and his episode of Who Do You Think You Are? featuring Bryan Cranston received the series’ first Creative Arts Emmy.

In 2026, he founded Smalltown, an independent production company delivering high-end production services across the UK and Europe and producing original content for global audiences.
